ReplyDeletesculptures are fascinating. I love to see the play of light over the curves of metals/rocks.
ReplyDeleteThe statue of the dancing girl from the excavation of Indus valley civilization always fascinates me.
In India we usually have sculptures made of an eight metal alloy called Ashtadhatyu. That is the alloy used to make what they call "Holy" sculptures.
I've always found it a bit humorous that a sculpture called the thinker would provoke thought but it does just that.:)
