ASK DR WANG, the psychic betta fish
This week's e-mail is from Bo-bo in Ding Dong, Texas. Bo-bo writes:
Dear Dr Wang,
I went on a singles cruise last month and met a woman named "Tunisia" who is as sweet as a peach in August. Tunisia is a total beauty queen, with long red hair and nice green eyes that I could get lost in. We spent just about every moment of the cruise together and got to know each other real good during midnight walks under the full moon. When the cruise ended, she went home to Cleveland and I returned home to Ding Dong. I can't stop thinking of Tunisia and wonder if we have a future together. Should I visit her in Cleveland or would it seem too forward?
Thanks, Bo-bo
Dr Wang responds: Dear Bo-bo,
It sounds like you are infatuated with Tunisia, but I am not certain she feels quite the same about you. The Great Bubble Wall in my tank is flowing in a single pattern, and not the usual random flow of bubbles. This indicates indecision with Tunisia's feelings and affection for you. However, as I meditated further on your e-mail, the plastic palm trees in my tank started to gently sway with the flow of water. So there may actually be some potential for love, depending on the position of the moon when you next meet.
I suggest that you invite Tunisia to visit you in Ding Dong for a long weekend. When she visits, take her for a romantic walk in the evening near your home, during a full moon. There, she will be enthralled by a field of goldenweed plants. If there is any potential for the relationship to blossom, it will be among the goldenweeds that night. Your ravishing redhead will really relish the romance.
keep swimming upstream,
-Dr Wang

Goldenweeds in the town of Ding Dong on a full moon? Wow. Dr wang I'm always entertained with your letters.
ReplyDeletewhere IS Ding Dong Texas anyway???
ReplyDeleteuh...Dr. Wang...you forgot to mention taking Tunisia to the Mars Bowl-A-Lot for a match-lit dinner (they also got a new shipment of used bowling shoes too)!
ReplyDeleteAs I recall from The Wizard of Oz, if she is a real witch, Ding Dong will kill her--or something like that. "Ding Dong" and "witches" don't go together, I seem to recall...
ReplyDeleteI am concerned about this "ravishing, yet nice" beautiful woman.
That is an oxymoron--like, "vegetarian bloodhound."
What if she is really a DUDE...uh...dude?
