Adventures of Sheldon & Duncan: The Floor Plant Monstrosity

It's been awhile since I've written about the antics of the poodles. Until now. Welcome to The Adventures of Sheldon & Duncan: The Floor Plant Monstrosity. We went out for a few hours and returned home to find two stalks on one of our floor plants had been chewed down to stubs.

We walked over to the sofa and found the following evidence:

and then I looked to the side chair and saw more carnage:

The poor plant had been gnawed off and left for dead...

above: Can you guess who is the guilty party in this monstrosity?

  1. Must have been Owen cause those two adorable pups look way too "pure" and innocent to ever do anything destructive! Yeah right, huh? Don't all animals ALWAYS give us the most innocent of looks though?
We had a bit of mystery here last night too. Both our females cats had kittens last week -gray cat Chino had four a week ago Monday (4 gray kits) and orange cat Nina had 5 on Saturday (2 buff, 1 calico and 2 gray). Both cats have "bed" in the bathroom right now for tending to their kits. Last night, somehow or other, Chino's four gray kittens were magically transported to Nina's box and Nina's 5 mixture of kittens were placed in Chino's box. Maya says Kurtis moved them but for some reason, I'm more inclined to think Maya did the rearranging there. But neither Mama cat seemed upset by the whole deal.

  3. I think your home is haunted... you must have a ghost causing all this mischief!

  4. Perhaps it is possible that an outside intruder or burglar came in to rob you guys blind. And, perhaps, the aforementioned pooches barked and attacked the intruder so violently that the plants got in the way of the fight and the stalks were broken off that way. And the burgler tossed them on the furniture as he/she left. Perhaps. I'm just thinking outside the four walls here.

  6. I think they're saying "that plant was attacking your house, but we wrestled it into submission for you. Reward us with food now!" ;)

  7. Is this unusual Rick? Or have they done stuff like this before....That would worry me...! Does this mean you cannot keep plants in the house? Those two little mischief makers...lol!

  8. Those two look totally innocent, which means they BOTH did it! And they're trying to blame it on Owen. Little imps.....*grin*

  10. They're really no more developed mentally or mature than a 3 year-old from what I have read.
