Palm Springs Savant Nominations and Recipients:
1. Tea and Margaritas in My Garden is a delightful blog. Her blog coveys the wonderful life in her cozy English cottage with her husband, a very cool dog named Elvis, and kitties Teddy, Angus and Theodore. This is a very thoughtful blog, with day to day experiences, hobbies and interesting personal life stories.
2. Canadian Flake: This "frosted flake" is one busy blogger. She posts regularly, and is a voracious blog reader. I have been impressed with her ability to entertain others and also engage in other's blogs. Her profile is quite modest, but she has a fun blog, with entertaining material.
3. Naomi's Diary From England: Naomi is one of the sweetest bloggers I've had the pleasure to meet in the blogosphere. She blogs tirelessly and is quite social as well. I first ran into Naomi from Blog Village, where she loyally supports fellow bloggers. If you are interested in a first hand perspective on life in England, check out Naomi's blog.
4. Empress Bee of the High Sea Muffin 53: Bee is well known throughout blogland. She has a really good blog and has been a regular blog reader and friend. I especially appreciate Bee's support for friends kids joining the service. Her blog is funny, entertaining and creative.
5. Spirit of Saint Lewis captures the essence of life from Lewis' perspective. He has a terrific outlook on life, and spreads cheer across the blogosphere. His blog covers friendships, social issues, travels and local stuff from Portland, it is always a fun read.

My goodness, you are awfully kind....have you been drinking heavily or involved in illicit drug use? Seriously, I appreciate the shout out and award. I've enjoyed getting to know you and Palm Springs/San Diego too! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteI have read all of these blogs. Great picks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link Rick. I will return the favor! Congrats on the award and good choice picking Canadian Flake! Her blog is a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteHola Rick!
ReplyDeleteI wondered here by coincidence not long ago, and now I realize your blog offers something very, very interesting to me: pet food. I have three: two kitties and one Pomeranian that think is a big dog ;o) I will be looking for any information you may post about our furry friends. I also left a question for you on my blog. Ciao!
Wow! Thanks so much Rick :) That`s so sweet of you to choose me as one. I really like your blog and wish I had more time to visit more often than I do. Can`t seem to put the awards at my blog. There doesn`t seem to be an empty spot in the template area for that. I tried commenting on a couple of your older posts but it didn`t seem to work. Probably my slow connection or something. The Norma Desmond bed is awesome and that movie was one of my all time favorites. I`ll pass this award along after I get the two memes I`ve been tagged to do. I`m so behind LOL
ReplyDeletethanks again

ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the award Rick. I really appreciate that. It was very kind of you. I'm glad you enjoy Diary From England. I'm going to check out some of the other sites you mentioned here as well. They sound really good.
ReplyDeleteOn another note I would like to invite you to submit a post to my All England Carnival which I'll be holding at Diary From England on 1st October. You can read all about it by following the link below. I think you would enjoy this as you used to live in England. Maybe you could write about your experience of living there.
