We have family visiting this week so I took today off to extend the weekend and spend more time together. It has been perfect weather lately- in the mid 80's during the day, followed by cool nights perfect to sit outside in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. We've been cooking on the grill and dining poolside every night, which always relaxes me. What a difference the extra day makes with a long weekend-I was so relaxed all day Saturday and Sunday even I was surprised. So today I will keep a low profile, enjoy the desert and do something fun. ReplyDeleteYou have a fireplace outside? On purpose? Or did the workers leave it out there when building the house because Jerry Lewis was in charge so they put the doorway in first and then saw that it wouldn't fit.
ReplyDeleteStupid postal service.. here we are, only three miles out of Palm Springs and our invitation keeps getting lost in the mail. They're so inept.
Hope you had a lovely Extra Day with your family. I ofetn found the Winter Nights too cold in Palm Springs---So, it sounds lovely to be eating out by the pool in the evening!
