Sunday Art Review: Peacocks and Palm Trees
This week's edition of The Sunday Art Review: Peacocks and Palm Trees is a seemingly unusual and unrelated combination. I thought it would be an interesting collection of colors and styles to consider. We certainly don't have peacocks native to Palm Springs, but they are as regal as the city itself is today. So take some time to review these simple pieces, and enjoy them. This first painting is quite simply titled: "Peacock", artist Trinidad Martinez.
The first painting by Trinidad Martinez -besides its beautiful simetry- has a certain "it" that I love! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Frankfurt, Germany!!
"Comment fees have been waived".. har!
ReplyDeleteI want a print of "Three Palms". It's gorgeous.
The 1st peacock is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI like the one that`s in the Waldorf Rick. Very elegant. Peacock feathers are amazing.

I really like the first and last ones. I would love to be able to afford to buy real art and not just prints.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is amazing!
ReplyDeletethe pacock is really magnificent. i love it. but the last two palms are also lovely. i like threen palms for the vibrant colors and the jumgle for the mood it creates.
ReplyDeleteThe Martinez peacock piece has a wonderful decorative art quality to it. Like the use of color.
ReplyDeleteI think the first one is my favourite...love those bright colours.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go with Palm at the Palm. Something about it just speaks to me.
ReplyDeleteWe have peacocks that survive the winter up here. There was a feral living behind our house. They make the weirdest noise. I always enjoy your sunday art review.
ReplyDeleteI like the second one best-- it has a fairy land quality to it!
