Oooh, what a great topic! The songs and opening credits I love, the movies not so much. Probably because a Bond movie is all we ever get on TV on a wet Bank Holiday in the UK. My favourite is Carly Simon's "The Spy Who Loved Me."
I'll be back to watch all the vids later.
The Spy Who Loved Me
Would be bad news if a spy hted me.
Live and Let Die is my fav. Then View to a Kill (as a huge DD fan, obvs), then For Your Eyes Only because that was the first one I went to see at the movie theatre. And Sheena Easton has some pipes.
And I was kind of freaked out as a kid because, OMG, in the opening montage you could see outlines of b00bies!! Racy!!
Oh, boy! That's a tough one! I love them all, but think I'll have to go with "The Spy Who Loved Me".
It's been a while since I've checked out some of my fave blogs. I think I'm suffering from withdrawal right now!
Brilliant post, as always! When you've got a moment, pop on over :) I've got something for you on my blog!
"Live and Let Die" hands down. "Goldfinger" is a close second though.
I can't remember the times I've heard Goldfinger. I agree with the number one placement. Great topic.
You know it is funny Rick...they all sound so similar that I don't think I could pick one over the other...The music is like a "frabchise" too, just like the films are....lol! And I like them all, actually...!
Paul McCartney's song of course! SO OBVIOUS! I adore him and that song is just brilliant.
Hi Rick
Licence to Kill by Glays Knight is my personal favourite Bond soundtrack. I always think it fits the image of James Bond really well. However Shirley Bassey singing Goldfinger is a classic and a song that most of us associate with the Bond films.
