Sunday Art Review: Daylight Savings Time

As Daylight Savings Time in America arrived for yet another year, I rejoiced in the notion of longer days, or it still being light out when I get home from work. What can I say, I like sunshine and light. Although last night I confused myself because before I went to sleep I moved the time forward on my Blackberry, and then when I woke up I forgot what I had done. Anyway, Daylight Savings Time was the inspiration for this week's Sunday Art Review. This photo above left if called "Chicago Time Swirl", photographer unknown. Enjoy these images, loosely tied to time

Well that's all for this week's Sunday Art Review, which one do you like best?

The first picture is beautiful but I reall love "Time Change" by Ginsburg. It does a good job of capturing that fractured feeling that switching the clocks gives me.

I love springing forward. My favourite time of year. the longer daylight hours! love it. More play outside with the dogs after work.

Sunset La Jolla is my favorite because I like it.

While this isn't my fave because of this, it reminds me of a blue star sapphire that I bought for my ex husband when we were married. It was all blue, but for some odd reason, it had an orange glow to it. It was really unusual. (To show his contempt of me, he told our daughters that he gave it to a pawn shop. That was like giving pearls to swine!)
