A fresh round of Rick's Roadshow installments return once again over the next few weeks. I've been in San Francisco on a short business trip and managed to snap a few photos while walking to and from a business meeting. I make efficient use of my time, especially when it is a compressed schedule. Whenever I get up to SFO, I'm reminded of what a wonderful city it is, and I wonder why I don't visit more often. This was purely a business trip with hardly any free time, but this photo above is of the Bay Bridge (not to be confused with the landmark Golden Gate Bridge).

above: Next up was the Hog Island Oyster Company, which was hopping!

above: Guests at the Hog Island Oyster Company were busy gobbling down oysters while the nice men behind the counter shucked the oysters in front of you.

A trip to San Francisco folliwed by a trip to Chicago . . . . Sign me up for that adventure! I love walking down the streets in both of those cities. The urban energy is intoxicating!
I really do enjoy when you take us on a little trip via your photos and dialogue explaining a bit about the sights. You do make an excellent tour guide ya know.

Did you see the "Bush Man" over by the Pier? He's a riot! He hides behind a branch and pops out and says, "Boo!" Made me laugh...
All my friends have been to San Fran, I hear great things, but they NEVER TOOK PICS! So....thank you!
If you like Hog Island Oyster Co. You must check out 'Swan's Oyster Depot.' on California/Polk. Excellent place! Been there forever.
I love San Francisco. Seeing the photos reminds me that hubby and I are due another trip there. Soon.
Love the Embarcadero in San Francisco.
Our son lived in Half Moon Bay a few years back. We came out to see him and fell in love with the place.
I've never seen this side of SFO. I'd love that market. And the palms in your photos. So majestic! It's very green here in MD, but not with palms, of course, and I love them.
