Elvis & Priscilla Presley's Palm Springs Connection

I'm never seen the TV show Dancing with the Stars, but one of the stars on the current season has a connection to Palm Springs. Priscilla Presley has a fabulous history here in the desert. Priscilla is an actress, producer and successful business entrepreneur. She was, of course married to music legend, Elvis Presley. She has made a fortune when she founded Elvis Presley Enterprises, and through her own product lines as well.

Priscilla's acting career has included a prominant role as a regular on the TV series Dallas, she also made guest appearances on TV's Melrose Place, Touched by an Angel, and Spin City. She also starred in the hit film series The Naked Gun. Priscilla is the executive producer of the film Finding Graceland and the film version of her autobiography called "Elvis and Me".

I'm such a huge Elvis fan!! I saw him in concert ...oh....waayyyy back in the early seventies! I feel bad for Priscilla though. I do watch DWTS and while she's really a good dancer and an obvious perfectionist...I think there'a a surgeon somewhere who's not done right by her. What a shame. She's a gorgeous woman.

One day I hope to visit my mother's friends in Palm Springs so I can see some of the very retro houses out there! I looks like a time warp.

Priscilla was always a beautiful woman, until only recently has that plastic surgery begun to make her look bizarre!

Elvis was a cool kat though. "A VERY OLD FRIEND, CAME BY TODAY..." Opening lines/lyrics of my fav Presley song of all time! LONG LIVE THE KING!

Rockin' Robin here and I have been to and slept over at both of Elvis's homes there in Palm Springs, the Honeymoon Hideaway and the Chino Canyon house which he still owned at the time of his passing. Great party homes and the swimming pools rock ! I still have one of the EP engraved water glasses from the Chino Canyon house.
