Wisdom Wednesday: Featuring Dr Sidney Wang

ASK DR WANG, the psychic betta fish

This week's e-mail is from Lula in Dedham,Massachusetts. Lula writes:

Dear Dr Wang,

This is difficult for me to write in to you, as I am a traditional Greek woman, and very superstitious. However, my sister told me about Wisdom Wednesday so I thought I'd give it a try. As I write this I've still never read your column, but am hoping that you can share some wisdom with me regarding my cousin. She is engaged to a man named Andreas she has been dating for three years. However, recently I saw him at a topless girlie bar. I know my cousin would be devastated to know Andreas was frequenting a bar with naked girls. I don't want to be a trouble-maker, but I feel like she should know this. Should I tell my cousin? What will happen if I do? I am worried about the consequences of me telling her this news.

-Lula V.

Dr Wang responds: Dear Lula,

At times, even The Great Bubble Wall does not provide all the insights necessary for me to answer every question. Fortunately I recently acquired a new Oracle Book to assist with such matters. The Oracle Book hints of an unexpected outcome in this matter. This news will come as a complete shock to your cousin; and she will likely end her engagement with Andreas. Your sister, however will suddenly become interested in him. Apparently she is not bothered by his choice in evening entertainment-but for good reason.

Your sister has secretly been moonlighting as a topless dancer for the past year. She wears a curly red wig to disguise her identity, and has actually seen Andreas at the bar where she dances. Once she learns Andreas is single she will make the moves on him. The Great Bubble Wall in my tank also indicates that you and your cousin will discover your sister's secret profession, which will cause a scandal in your family. It will be up to you to help bring your family together and heal any wounds. On a positive note, soon you will inherit a restaurant that specializes in souvlaki and gyros. I suggest offering your sister a job at the restaurant so she can quit the job at the topless bar.

keep swimming upstream

-Dr Wang

Mags- You are right, I suspected some funny business as to how Lula knew Andreas was at the girlie bar, but as I am a creature of the sea, it's difficult for me to know everything you land dwellers do.

Mo- Yes! Thanks for the speedy service with The Oracle Book, The Wren's Nest rocks.

Takanis!

if they're both Greek, then they should be used to the visual need of the Greek men...they'll be loyal, but still need the frequent trips to the eye candy stores. :)

HA!

Silly melakas! :)

Always,
Elizabeth
