Your New Year's Eve sounded fabulous and I'm so glad you got to mingle with very famous celebrities. I hope this is your foray into that inner circle. Happy 2009!
happy new year, rick. wish you the best in 2009
Live long and prosper friend and Happy New Year to Palms Springs from London town :)
happy 2009 to you!!!
Well, as I have already commented on the video on FB, I shall not repeat myself here, other than to say that Sheldon even with a collar on is a well behaved boy.
I would have loved to see the men in tuxes and the ladies in their sumptuous evening wear!
Happy New Year!
Great video and wonderful quotes, thanks for sharing.
I hope Sheldon's recovery goes well.
Oh and BTW I am so jealous that you have a library.
A VERY VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, RICK....
MAY 2009 BE A GLORIOUS YEAR FOR YOU AND YOURS, FILLED WITH GOOD HEALTH, MUCH HAPPINESS AND ABUNDANT CREATIVITY!
I'm guessing here....is the first initial of the first name "B"? (lol)
OldOld Lady - hehe, I see where you're going there...
Naomi (Old lady of the hills)- you got it right my friend! ;-)
I shall be wracking my brain for singers with the initial B who live in Palm Springs!! Lucky you. Happy New Year, Rick.
Damn, I'm jealous! Well, if you were at "B"'s house, my guess is that the well known actress who was there with her husband, might possibly be the one known as "B"'s best friend. And that their house is in line of sight from B's. Am I right?
Happy New Year from chilly New Jersey!

Hi! I'm a long-time friend of Cheryl's and my kharma is totally positive! (Check out my blog).
Our New Year's was lovely, but the antithesis of yours in that it was quiet. We shared it at an early dinner out with our best friends, Marge & Dave, and then home to a roaring fire and a good book --Harlan Coban's FADE AWAY. (It's very cold here!)
Blessings in the New Year. Kathy
Happy New Year, Rick. Loved hearing about that house up on the hill. I bet the place is GORGEOUS. Loved hearing about your time there. Wish you could share more, but I totally understand and respect your discretion. Happy 2009 from one Palm springs resident to another.
Clandestine enough to not mention names but...hmmm...I wonder who????
Hope 2009 is an awesome year for you. Look forward to reading your blog and enjoying your food, art, and celebrity perspective.
Cheers!
And a Happy New Year to you too!
My sister in law loves Palm Springs and she's been nudging me to bring the family for vacation some time. Might have to tap your brain for some recommendations this year?
MUAH!
And a happy (somewhat belated) new year to you, Rick. Have just become a fan of your blog. Much fun to read. And love your ascots.
