Palm Springs Film Festival Gala Screening Opening Night

The Palm Springs International Film Festival kicked off this evening with the Opening Night Gala screening of a new independed film "Outsourced", a comedy directed by John Jeffcoat and stars relative newcomers Josh Hamilton, Ayesha Dharker, Asif Basra and Matt Smith. The film was a delightful comedy with a good story, I highly recommend it. Following the screening, we attended the Opening Night Gala Reception at the Palm Springs Art Museum. We dined among the many magnificent pieces of art throughout the galleries, and sipped wine while chatting with friends. The Palm Springs Film Fest is known primarily for its star power, and this year's honorees in attendance include Cate Blanchett, Brad Pitt, Alan Arkin, Greg Kinnear, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Beach, Todd Field, Kate Winslet, and Sidney Pollack. I'll have more to report on that in the coming days.

This is actually the logo from the PS Short Film Festival, but I just dig the ultra-glam look...
