We returned to the desert last night and went to Matchbox for dinner. It was a chilly night, so the "fire bar" felt good in the cool of the night. I love their food: wood oven baked thin pizzas, delicious salads, and a terrific seelction of quality beers from around the world. Going to Matchbox has become an unofficial Friday night tradition for us, whenever we are away from the desert during the week.
Man's Best Friend...
Here are two great dogs from work: on the left is Scout, and on the right is Freckles. Their dad is my friend Jerry, who works with me at PETCO. They come to work most days and make the office a better place.

Copy Katz now open in Palm Springs

A new place opened up in downtown Palm Springs called Copy Katz. Its a showroom and backstage bistro featuring performers who impersonate famous celebrities, such as: Cher, Sonny Bono, Bette Midler, Tina Turner, Madonna, Reba McIntire, Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson, Carol Channing, Judy Garland, Charlie Chaplan and many others. They have a great mezzanine level bar and seating area, and the main stage area is very cozy. We saw part of the show on New Year's Eve and it was a lot of fun.
