Panama Cruise, Day 1: The Sun Princess Ship Sets Sail

Today I set sail on an 18 day cruise that will take me through the Panama Canal. I've decided to make a blog series out of the trip and will post entries with hopefully interesting stories and photos. The Sun Princess holds 1,950 passengers, with over 400 balcony staterooms. Being on the ship for so long, we wanted a balcony to relax in privacy. Just being able to sleep with the balcony door open, feeling the fresh ocean breeze with the sound of the waves is a great way to relax, which I really need.

18 Days! Lordy. Weigh yourself every day and graph your progress. The longest cruise I have been on was 3 days and I ate like a maniac.
