Farewell Mr Humphries

British Actor John Inman, best known for his role as Mr Humphries in the BBC comedy "Are You Being Served" passed away on March 8th at a London hospital at the age of 71.
Although often predictable, his portrayal of the camp salesman at Grace Brothers department store was a well loved classic, made famous by his catch-phrase "I'm free". His best friend at Grace Brothers, Mrs. Slocombe was another famous character, well loved by fans of British comedy. They played off one another quite well, and always brought the laugh.

Farewell Mr Humphries, you will be missed!

Are You Being Served was a popular show here in England, one of my favourites. Apart from being an excellent comedy actor, John also made a great pantomine dame too. He will be sadly missed by us all.
