Rick's Roadshow: Baltimore, Maryland

Rick's Roadshow is back on with another 5 days of business travel this week. Today I flew into Washington Dulles and drove to Baltimore. I was on the phone for the entire drive so I barely had anytime to stop off to take photos. Before anyone scolds me, I was using the hands-free headset to talk and drive, so I was paying attention to the road! It had been years since I'd been in Baltimore, so it was nice to see it again. Even though I rented the satellite navigation thing with the car rental, I watched for road signs.

Traffic was very heavy (it was rush hour), but I finally made it to Baltimore with no problems. Downtown looked so serene and bright in the afternoon sun. I made a pit stop at Edgar Allen Poe's house and grave site. I always liked his writings, even though they creeped me out as a kid.
Above left: Edgar Allen Poe's house (its very unassuming).
Tomorrow I have meetings to attend, and visits to local stores, so I hope to take some more photos while on the go! Stay tunes!

I went to Baltimore, to the Inner Harbor last summer. It was terrific. Did you go there?

Awwwwww your travel pics never disappoint. I enjoy them thoroughly. Poe's house seems to suit someone whose writing was so...ummm "dark"?? LOL. Thanks for sharing.
