Pulchritudinous in Pink

Last night some good friends hosted a dinner party for 12 at Leon's Bar and Grill in Palm Springs, at the Indian Canyon's Golf Resort. Within our social circle, there are 8 of us who all celebrate a birthday within a week or so of each other. This was the "birthday bash" dinner for the Virgo kids. The evening started with cocktails on the golf course patio. Since I was wearing pink pants, a bright pink shirt, and pink glasses, a Pomegranate Martini was in order, completing the ridiculous look I had going. (I think I actually prefer my usual blue raspberry martinis, but that wouldn't have been as fun). There was a wonderful R&B/Jazz band playing outside in the moonlight, which was a perfect backdrop.

Seafood Galore

The restaurant brought magnificent platters of fresh seafood: Crab legs, Scallops, Jumbo Shrimp & Lobster

Since we were a large party, there were two entrees served: Wild Alaska Salmon and Baby Back Ribs.

And for desert: Oh my God, the most delicious Chocolate cake and rich chocolate ice cream. Wow was it fantastic!

I like you in pink, it's a good color for you with your features. The food looks delish too by the way.

That cake looks soooo decadent!

And just remember-- pomegranate is rich in antioxidants, which is a great excuse to go back for another and another!

I wonder how does a group entirely composed by Virgos interact ;o) My life have been surrounded by them: my grammy, my father, my sister, my best friend ... They are a curious mix between pure-like individuals with a "devilish" side too; extremely neat, logical, charming and with bowh feet on the ground ... These all based on scrict observation; I know nothing about astrology. BTW, would you explain what does pulchritudinous mean, please? :D

I've heard of Pretty in Pink...but I'm going to have to excuse myself to go and look that word up. I've seen more than one pic of you look quite dapper, with a cocktail in hand, followed by food pictures. Delicious.

Lilian- "Pulchritudinous": I'm using it with a wink and nudge. The definitions are as follows: "physically beautiful;
used of persons only; having great physical beauty; "pulchritudinous movie stars"

LOL! :oD Great. Pulchritudinous in pink, of course! Thanks for the clarification; I'll use it all the time now to describe myself haha ;)

Oh my - that pink, Rick! No offense, but it reminds me of Pepto-Bismal. I would probably need that after consuming all of the luscious, rich food.

I'm on my way over for a introductory first comment blog meal! And to give Owen the biggest hug ever. I have my own ginger furry one at home but he's so dull next to your moggie!
