Exploring Palm Springs: Indian Heritage
Aspects of their culture are evident throughout the city. Above: Statues downtown: "Two Cahilla Women" & "Young Cahuilla Maiden"
Above left: Agua Caliente Cultural Museum downtown on Palm Canyon Drive. and above right: Indian Canyon Golf Club.
A few photos from my afternoon at home:
Beneath the Palm trees in the back yard. Above left: Morning & above right: late afternoon, you almost need to squint from the sun while looking at this photo.
The cool, refreshing waters in my pool. The difference is the time of day and the way the sunlight hit the water. I love the way the water looks. I'm ready to take "the Nestea plunge" (obscure 70's TV commercial reference there). Thanks for stopping by today for this brief post.

Aaahhh, the "Nestea plunge"...only to be preceded by the "Big Mac sack attack"! Thanks for sharing Palm Springs with us Rick! I've either been to or been by some of the places you are highlighting and it's really making me want to go back for another visit.
Oooohhhhh I love the photos of the water. Very pretty.
Two Cahilla Women is beautiful!
awwww wonderful pics as always. I laughed at your reference to the Nestea plunge being an obscure TV reference. Up here in Canada, there is still a commercial that plays where the guy is on a tennis court and takes the Nestea plunge...so see? old isn't always bad..roflmao.
Thanks for your work and have a good day
Madeleine MaCaan
There is strong suspicion that Madeleine’s case is being hidden by responsible people in England. Of what it doesn’t seem to have doubts is that the girl was assassinated
Those water pics are great Rick
OMGGGGGGGGG I feel so old. I remember that commercial all to well.
Oh, how I want to take a Nestea Plunge into that true, blue water. Yum!!!
